Nancy Mehesy Hi, My name is Nancy Mehesy. I am the owner and operator of Jabbok Counseling. I am a fully licensed marriage and family therapist. I look forward to meeting you and your family. I have been working in the field of mental health for about 20 years. I stepped out of mental health briefly when I became a mom of three great kids. I have worked with leaders, executives and families in many facets of mental health including inpatient, acute care and other clinical settings and I am passionate about supporting you and your family in your goals. Corporate, marriage and family life has many challenges. I hope to bring research in neuroscience, my training and experience both professionally and personally to serve you and your family. I utilize highly researched and proven methods in my work with couples, families, children and teens. I have a special interest in trauma, abuse and addictions. I utilize many different methods to support you in your goals. I hope you choose to reach out for support. We are not designed to journey through this world alone. I view therapy as journey of self discovery as we explore your strengths and growth areas. I am excited to be invited to journey alongside of you.
Ken Nappier My name is Ken Nappier. I'm a husband and father. I am passionate about working to improve the lives of others. Life has a way of wearing us down. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for support. I believe that relationships are our greatest source of joy and satisfaction. Sadly, they can also bring pain and confusion. I'm excited to be a part of your journey to restoration. I decided to pursue a master's degree in marriage and family therapy following my military service in the army which included several years overseas. I have a special interest and extended training in working with couples in distress. I enjoy coming alongside of couples to help create the relationship that they desire to have with each other.I also provide help for many of life's challenges, such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and abuse. Additionally, I have extended training in helping improve relationships between parents and children. Taking the first step toward change is often the most difficult. I am committed to providing you with a safe environment for healing and growth.
Fees The base fee at Jabbok Counseling is $100 per therapeutic hour which is 50 minutes. Jabbok Counseling does not directly submit to insurance but you are welcome to self submit and our therapists will help provide the additional information needed to submit. You will find our experience and personal care valuable. We maintain a small personalized practice to provide exceptional care and accessibility to our clients. Jabbok Counseling is able to bill an organization such a church or business upon request.
Why we do not submit to insurance? We do not directly submit to insurance for several reasons. When a facility directly submits to insurance, some insurance companies may audit records as well as require regular reviews to continue in care. This means that your personal information maybe shared freely. Some insurance companies determine the type of care that clients receive, may dictate treatment procedures or limit coverage to specific conditions. At Jabbok Counseling, we strive to provide the maximum privacy and offer you the opportunity to keep health care costs lower as well ensure that care is directed by you and your needs with the care and expertise of your therapist. If you decide to self submit to insurance, your therapist can help you with this process and this offers much greater privacy to the care you receive. We feel that this honors your needs, care and privacy. Please call us if you would like additional help in understanding this policy and how we can help you get the high quality care you and your family deserve during this difficult time in your lives.
