Our therapists can help you understand and contain your anxiety. We will start by building a trusting relationship, and then assess your current stressors, family history and past experiences with anxiety. Addictions Our staff understands the nature of addictions. You may feel double minded. Sometimes you feel in control and other times you feel like your struggle controls you. We work with sexual addiction, chemical addiction, and other types of addictions. We can help you and your family navigate the rough waters of creating healthy patterns that provide the context for recovery as well as helping you consider the underlying causes of your struggle. If you are not sure if you struggle with chemical or behavioral addiction, we will help you assess your level of struggle by considering some of the following questions: Has my behavior grown to the level of addiction? Do I find myself feeling in control of the behavior or chemical at times and out of control at other times? Do I find that I need to engage more and more in the chemical or behavior to feel good? Do I find myself seeking that behavior or chemical when I am feeling sad or struggling with a problem? If you are not sure then please do not suffer alone. We are not made to suffer alone but to reach out for help.
